Wilkins played for Furman- who was 184 in KP and the highest rated conference member was at 164 with most everyone below 200.. so no you aren’t correct.

Temple is in the American with 9 teams higher in the KP than the top team in the SoCon including 3 in the top 100.

Just to add some context here, Furman was ravaged by injuries this year and had the highest budget in the SoCon. They were very very talented and got banged up early. By far the best team as well. Wilkins was their best player. There is a reason they won the conference tournament as a six seed. Wilkins is viewed as a high major talent and will likely land on a top 25 team. I don’t know what the argument is but just wanted to interject some info.

Your gatekeeping efforts are just ridiculous.

Your application of one player’s fortunes/results to any others is also ridiculous. George played in a given context last year. The previous year, he played in a different context. I think we were mostly pleased to get him. So, I guess since he was a ‘bust,’ we shouldn’t go after people we would be pleased to get. We shouldn’t go after a “top pg.” We shouldn’t pay a PG $3M…. Please codify all the rules that would keep you happy, with both the roster and how we communicate here.

I think it’s better to build a team with good players and find the right culture fits and schemes. It’s a different philosophy. No need to get all upset
