I would have preferred Tillery.

The behind the scenes "story" on Tillery is disappointing. HC didn't think much of Tillery, relative to other guys we were recruiting. As those players got targeted by blue chip programs, we circled back to Tillery late, and made an overture. Given the proximity, the Tillery camp was open to discussing even though we were getting involved late, compared to other programs.

Kid allegedly came on site, and we had a lowball NIL offer compared to the schools that were already recruiting Tillery, and the family was insulted.

Too bad.
