Cincycuse spoke to how when he was starting they played much better. He might be good enough to start then Dual can truly be the 3 position mercenary off the bench as needed.

I know he was just a freshman but why didn't he play much at Cincy? His numbers look pretty meh in a small sample size

Reminder, We can only start 5 guys on any given day. Remember that 6th man we had, called DIon, who was a first round draft pick and played 8 years in the NBA? And he didn't start. Better example is someone has to be player #7, 8, 9 ...They will be coming in through the portal most likely.

And the players need to work it out. Who’s gonna improve the most this offseason and make the best case for themselves? As JB used to say, you have to be getting better every day. One thing I like about Gmac is that I think he’s good at player development, and I’m sure he values that quality in his assistants too.

Right- I don’t like the idea of getting stuck with two huge splashes that leaves the rest of the roster exposed and promotes very little competition. I know I’m probably thinking about it too conservatively in that regard and yet having been through two years of our best player missing huge stretches of games…
