Some more analysis of his numbers

1.2 DPM, very similar to Lucas Taylor (1.4) who was basically accepted as our best defender last year.

Second in Turnovers in the ACC, but only 19.9% TOV, better than Carlos (22.4)

His 34.6 AST% would the best AST% for a starting Syracuse PG since 2012-13, MCW. BETTER THAN ENNIS.

Not recruited to be a scorer. His job will be setting up JJ, Donnie and Kingz (and any other center or wing we get). Virtually any offense we get from him is a plus. And he’s a passable 3 point shooter (34%) and a decent free throw guy (78%). So he’ll be just fine.

I am not a huge analytics guy, I understand their value, but I know what a point guard looks like, and Nait George is a true point guard and I think he is going to help us tremendously. Think about the old "coach on the floor" saying. Well, when you lack a coach on the sidelines, a coach on the floor is a step in the right direction.

Billy was 2nd on the team in TS% behind only McNeil who just dunked. He was super efficient.

He scored 12 points a game, has a nice teardrop on the drive, and hit 33% from three - passable, needs to be defended. This is a good get.

He's an ACC guard who has done well in our league for 2 years. This is not getting a 5-10 guy from Hofstra and hoping for the best. He's 5 inches taller. This is pretty good. We need another SF who can make a 3, and another C, and we're in pretty good shape.

Eh, You'd think many of us would have more humility after being so wrong last year about our portal guys. I think the guy is wrong. I really like George, but he's allowed to have an opinion, even if I think it's wrong.
