Phil Steele on Bill King College Football This AM

He's been wrong all year about SU. Louisville is horrific on offense and their QB is maybe better than what's at UConn, but that's it. Defense is very good, but they haven't faced many quality offenses beyond Cinci and UNC.

And the "good" game stuff is a misnomer. One complete game yes, but they have only played one bad game, and that would be Tulane, which they won, and had a double digit lead at one point.

Rhode Island has to be considered a bad game, as well. We should have won that game by 3 or 4 TDs.

I'll rephrase... Tanner Price going down was not the only reason we beat Wake Forest, but at the very least, it was an extraordinarily fortunate break. If that injury does not take place, our chances of winning decrease significantly.

He went down because we got to him. It's part of football. We hit him hard and he had to watch the rest of the game. We made our own good fortune.

for what it's worth, AA expects Louisville's defense to break before the orange's (i felt it should be posted to both)
That was my question, too

Then it must also be accurte that we lost to rutgers only because Jones and Thomas were out.

Not to mention that pretty much our entire secondary was hurt against Wake.

Injuries only matter if they happen to the QB. Maybe if the Wake OL wasn't holding on the play (and it was called as such), the Wake QB wouldn't have been hurt. Did their QB play two way? Didn't remember him playing defense, but he must have, because how else would our offense have scored so many 4th Q points?

He might be right about Louisville, but he was wrong about WVU and it sounds like it's eating at him.

Does having Kevyn Scott play count as an injury?
