My son (Mr. Boots) decided he an I are driving to Pitt tonight for the game this weekend. We are going to grab a hotel in as lively an area downtown as possible - he is 24 and I will leave him to fend for himself in the bars once I fall asleep - he makes friends fast. Any topline does or don'ts - thanks!! He said something about a casino too but I am clueless.

Just gotta follow up that the roadtrip was a major success. Stayed downtown, walked around, did the game then the nightlife with Mr. Boots. Full disclosure we were looking through our phones trying to piece together what and when we did things Saturday.

We ended up in the front row under the basket and everyone was great to be around, SU and Pitt people alike.

I normally don’t do photos but we did with the players and they could not have been nicer. JJ was great with me joking about Corcoran vs B’ville stuff noting Dejour Reeves is his pal. William Kyle III was a riot and enjoy my son’s joking around getting on his toes for the photo.

Net sum, great thing to do with your son. Great to get more emotionally connected to the players again as I think I have not done a great job of that lately. The guys on this team are SO FREAKING LIKEABLE!!
