Pitt is struggling!!

Two things:

1) LaSalle is actually decent. They took Villanova to OT before losing.

2) Pitt's bench is rather poor. They struggle to get any scoring help. That team is going to be severely worn down by the rigors of Big East play.

This is one of the poorer Pitt teams in recent years, imo. They will probably be on the bubble come March. It all depends on how far Gibbs can carry them.

Gtown has looked much more impressive than Pitt.

i see you have been hanging around with a few accusers lately.

rehab is going up 12% after the first of the year, and most insurance plans cover the first time only
i might have to pass the hat around.

fwiw... i have not watched either pitt or georgetown this year, but you might get a few autographs from past g-town greats in rehab

I've had my issues in the past but made piece and moved on, no rehab. ;)

I try to keep as close an eye as I can on the conference members we play against. I hate Gtown but they will be better than Pitt this year IMO which was surprising because I expected them to be horrible before watching them play in Maui.

Threw up a little bit when I read that.

One does not compliment Georgetown on this board unless it's a underhanded compliment.

How bout "Pitt might suck worse than Georgetown this year... at least in basketball not in general"?

Please. I've seen this play beofre.

Act 1: Pitt loses to garbage teams/struggles vs teams they should beat easily.

Act 2: Pitt comes to the Dome and beats Syracuse by at least 10 points.

Act 3: Pitt gets hot in the Big East, everyone jumps on the bandwagon, and Moqui announces that this Pitt team is"different"from past Pitt teams and will make the final four this year.

Act 4: Pitt loses during the first weekend of the tournament.

To quote the great Joe Namath that is what I feel about Pitt struggling. Note I just like having a reason to post the interview.

Sounds about right.

Orlando, that's quite a bold statement! What's even more interesting about all of this is that in the Sports Illustrated pre-season issue a couple weeks ago (with the rankings right on the cover), they had Pitt ahead of us!! (they had us 8th, and Pitt was somewhere around 5 or 6)

Gtown looked impressive vs. kansas because kansas is quite overrated. Pitt doesn't have the strength at the 3 like they usually have and it is showing.
