Twitter costs Pitt commit scholarship
Marzett Geter (McKees Rocks, Pa./Sto-Rox) is the latest casualty of Twitter.

The three-star cornerback committed to Pitt since the summer had his scholarship pulled by Pitt last week after critical comments on Twitter, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Geter tweeted last week that he did not like that Pitt picked up another commit at cornerback.

I'd feel some sympathy for this kid but going by his tweets, I could careless. If I'm on the coaching staff, I don't need a high school telling me that I'm "wasting another scholarship" on a CB. Not only that, he's telling the staff who to offer to, ie. his teammate.
