Wisconsin makes a three to go up 56-53, and the entire Syracuse fanbase is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Dion comes down and makes a somewhat reckless dunk attempt, CJ scoops it up and makes an And 1 and quickly ties it back up.

Just an immeasurably important play, in my opinion.

Ginormous!

Bo didn'tlike that call... If it's a charge we may not be so happy...

That was a MAN dunk attempt by Dion. Dude was ANNOYED. Winners don't sulk in these situations, they get annoyed.

Wade like move by Dion he knew we needed something huge and he provided it. Kid is pure money great put back by CJ but that play was all Dion.

It was close, but IMO if it's too close to call I give the benefit of the doubt to the offensive player. I'm not a fan of charges and flopping so if I was a ref I'd only call the blatantly obvious ones as charges and the close ones blocking fouls.

Scariest play: We got about 4 offensive rebounds around the hoop on one possession and couldn't score .. Wiscy finally grabs a miss, gets down the court and hits a 3 .. absolutely crushing ..

Not even close imo, total flop as CJ barely touched the guy. Great call by the official who saw it for what it was.

My biggest play of the game also involves Dion. It was when CJ stole the ball, passed it to Dion on the break and Waiters unselfishly dished it back to Fair for the dunk. That was what got CJ's juice's flowing and was the shot of confidence which sustained him the entire game. Welcome back Mr. Fair.:D

Kris Joseph, you're now on the clock.

I'd like to toss in a vote for Scoops FTs. They were huge, especially when you KNOW his FT 'issues' were on the mind of all the fans and even Scoop

i'd say dion's assist was the most surprising play of the game. seldom see him give that ball up on the break.somewhat ironically what should have been his second assist instead went down as a turnover when he tried again to dish off to cj underneath the basket and fair just wasn't expecting the pass.

Agree the Mo was quickly taken away from badgers with that one. The CJ drive to the left of the paint demonstrated how well we were able to penetrate against the best defensive team in the country. It gives hope for Saturday in that we can do the same and maybe get some foul calls to put them in trouble. BTW When Dion uses that spin move down low and puts the ball in off the glass ,its like s time machine watching Pearl Washington do what makes me smile. Its a long time ago but the memories are in there hard set and ready for replay.SUball

CJ was huge today!!!!!
Finally ,yes!We can and should expect to see more. This guy is just starting to realize what he has at his disposal talent wise. I wonder who shows up big in this coming game . Joseph is due as well as James. Maybe we get Rakeem in some way out there shining a a bit of light on the floor. Maybe Tony Jardine wants the spotlight.;)

if dion's spin move was deja vu pearl then cj's lefty lane floaters were most def josh pace part deux

In te early days of the BE conference whenJohn Thompson sr was fielding his teams ,they had kids super quick moving around the court. I found myself counting their uniforms on the court to make sur it was only five against five. Sadly I never caught them with more. When Pace got on the floor he gave us the quick look during that great year . He was one of my favorites along with Duany. CJ remains one of my favorites. Just wait until next year. He will be the big time 6th man for us. His only real competition there will beSoutherland . Either or both will be highly improved. I heard Keita's voice the first time yesterday. Seems like a smart enough kid that can be prompted to start working on his body and game.Whether or not NN comes to Syracuse,an improved Moose would be of paramount importance. I'm pretty sure Rakeem will be in that frame of mind this coming offseason. After we win the NC of course.SUball
