There will be a lot of interest / press coverage of their bowl game, due to their controversial positioning.

Should we beat them, we'll get the accolades of beating an undefeated team, and show that it was reasonable all along that an undefeated non-P5 didn't get respect, didn't deserve respect, and it will end all of their claims.

Should we lose, well hey, we lost to an undefeated team, and enable them to add a victory over a solid P5 program to their resume. This will give us lots of repetitive coverage for a few years as being the team that UCF beat.
In my opinion, getting press coverage from this will be good, even though we lost. Our program will continue to get mentioned.

You're living in an alternate universe. UCF has already finished undefeated, and beaten an SEC (Auburn I believe) team in a bowl game. If we won, it would be "They played a non P5 and did what they should." If we lost, it would be validating that we are over rated to most outside of our fanbase.

I know this is **** up, but I agree. I'd rather play a 20 something ranked Auburn team than a top 10 UCF.

Very little chance of it more because both fanbases combined won't be able to come close to filling either the Fiesta or Peach.

I'd sign up for UCF. If we make a NY6, then we are going to play a great team. UCF has some talent and is fast but we can compete with that. We won't have to worry about being undersized.
