I'm going to go with...

Offense - Erv with 7 catches and Dungey with a 240 yards of total offense, 3 tds

Defense - Bennett with 10 tackles and 3 TFL; Thompson with 2 sacks



It will be hard to sleep tonight. Sipping on some Macallan 12 right now.
 
I'll go with 290 for Dungey and only because we'll have a lot of starters pulled by the 4th quarter.

Erv and Bris running in a suspect secondary... oh what fun. They break a few highlight plays early and usf will be forced to go man v man vs Ish. That will prove to be a bad idea. Give me Ish for 100+ and 2 tds.

Hard to pick anyone but Big Ron on d. I'll go with the Simmons/Arciniega combo off the other corner as protection will be cheating towards sugar bear. Their qb can run... but so can our de's.

Bris to pop a couple 30+ yard returns which will keep our overall offensive yards down but points up.

Muhammad Riley wont punt often but I like him to pop a 60+ yard moonshot when called upon.

Like one of the young dt's to decleat a usf player on a misdirection play as well.
 
was at World of Beer this afternoon contemplating what should happen tomorrow. We're all a bit nervous, tomorrow is a big game to see what this young team can do on the road. Everyone say their Hail Mary's

Definitely need Bris to have a day. He is a game changer on returns. It's fun to watch him pause, pick a lane and then go. Dude has some quick feet.

Riley might kick one into the Gulf tomorrow. That's only assuming he wants to. On first down.
 
Gonna go with Jordan Fredericks. Totes it 16 times for 82 yards and a touchdown to lead a ground game that gets to 200 on the day in all.

I'd like to see Jacob "The Thrill" Hill get a few carries late in the game after we have it locked.

I think that franklin is going to be a beast tomorrow. On O im going upstream with Custis two tds in the redzone
 
Estime, because he's the top playmaker on offense.

I also expect Dungey to have a big day, since the USF defense is oriented to stop the run while allowing short passing at a high level of efficiency. That plays to Dungey's strengths.

No doubt in my mind that USF will play competitive and keep it close for a time, but we'll break it open.

I fully expect at least one, maybe two screen plays that go for 30+ yards tomorrow.

How amazing is it to actually have an offense that can move the ball and score at a high clip? I know I keep saying this, but damn--what a welcome change.

Especially when you watch teams like Pitt or VT or NC State that struggle to move the ball. That was us 10 out of the last 11 years.
 
So we've got Erv, Ish and Bris with 2 each, JF with 1 and a late entry of Custis with 2. How amazing would it be if we're all correct? That's got us to 63 points without the somewhat likely chance our d scores one as well.

That would certainly grab some folks attention moving forward.
 
I'm betting on Lester's offense being the playmaker, with Dungey leading the way but mostly with the offense spread out between Erv, Ish, Estime, & Fredericks. Today will be the first time we will see Lester's offense unleashed...

Just bumping this because I can't stand to read this spew tonight. My eyes are bleeding from the irrational posts.

Anyways, Dungey ended up with 263 yards and 3 tds, so he slightly exceeded by expectations above. ;)

Erv was a little light at 5 catches versus my projected 7.

Who pray tell were the irrational ones? Captain hindsight would say this thread had a whole lot of irrational posting going on.

I love to cheer my team but this game belongs up there with 2013 Georgia Tech, 2013 Northwestern, and 2014 Maryland in the What?!? category. Hopefully it was just that, a What game.
