Please consider going to the Maryland game, if you haven't already

Me, my wife and my daughter will be making the trek from Philly.

My old Cuse roommate, and his daughter will also be joining (from Potomac).

We are definitely one of those that weren't going to be able travel to DMV area 2 weekends in a row so we choose the better matchup, location and travel situation.

"Hi everyone, this is my friend, KaiserUEO who I met on the internet. ChristianMingle.com to be exact."
Remember, I’m Omnipotent, Omnipresent & Omniscient...so be careful.

I was planning on going when I saw we were playing them. Unfortunately my son had to have a birthday on the day of the game. I had a great time at the tailgate last time. On the other hand, I still have a touch of vertigo from sitting in their upper deck. I think you guys might be able to see the Dome Crane from up there.

You are to give those people $50 for a gift and not a penny more.
My niece got married 2 years ago on the day of the Pitt game. I was relegated to watching the game on my phone during the ceremony. Her brother got married two months later with no conflict with a Cuse game. He got the same wedding gift. Plus $1.

Any quasi-ethical physicians on the board who could write my man ShutItDown a fake doctor's note?
There is at least one Psychiatrist but that might not be the type of note you want.

Will anyone be in 11b parking area with an RV? Planning on heading down and would like to be near some other SU fans.

Heading down on Friday morning. Sitting in Section 2 seats from SU.
Same here. Also from Bville and also staying at the Marriott. Going to be a good weekend!

Front row tickets behind the su bench, row 5 cost 73$ on seatgeek, I’d buy those tickets if I wasn’t working.

Don't buy these. obstructed views. you can get better tickets in the 300 section than these so you can actually see the game. I would suggest nothing lower than the first 4 rows.

I was at the 2013 game as well. My experience was a complete 180 from this. I've rarely felt more at home in a road stadium.
You feel at home among a sea of d bags

I'm coming with the non-internet friends, always fun and never awkward when they meet the internet friends.

Brian, meet cusefan90210. cusefan90210, meet Brian.
I loved when internet person stopped you on Marshall St, borrowed your phone, walked away briskly, came back, then took off. Non internet friends were baffled, you understood the esquire works in mysterious ways

Wow. I completely forgot about that. It was like seeing Batman, but his battery charging gadget broke.

Sounds like he ended up at a DeMatha game down the street.

Hope to shove outta Alexandria by 8AM Saturday. And the horror of meeting internet people in person is rather priceless.

DCCuse told me he could set up an intro. But alas, there's been way too much travel this summer and I'm happy to stay home this weekend. Wish it'd been scheduled in early October instead, I'd had it circled on the future schedule for a couple years.

True story: I went to the 2013 game at Byrd Stadium (W20-3, right?). Got tickets through a prominent Terps official, who is a close friend. I wore an orange SU hat, daughter (who was 8 at the time) wore an Otto shirt. Nothing outrageous, but if you saw us, you'd know where our allegiance lied. Picked up the tickets at Will Call. Noticed they were in a suite, maybe at the 35-yard line. Awesome, ... free nachos, maybe beers, right? Visions abound about "living large" for a few hours.

Then to my horror, we open the door and we are welcomed into the suite for the Maryland Athletic Director, Kevin Anderson. He greeted us himself, as we showed up about 40 minutes before kickoff. It was nearly empty at the time. I could barely talk, I was so ... embarrassed. If I'd known, I would have dressed more neutral. He was very kind, however, and gave my daughter a Terps coin IIRC. We shared a quick laugh. So we grabbed a cookie for my daughter and watched the first quarter in the suite, then ditched to watch the remainder in the stands.

I ripped my friend a new one the following Monday. He just laughed.

“Hey guys, there’s this great new blimp called the Hindenburg. Please consider taking a ride on it.” -Me in 1937
