Capeesh is American-Italian, really Neapolitan-American since they cut off all their words.

Real Italian would be “capito?”, ie. understood?

Capisci? 2nd person singular or

Capite? 2nd person plural.

If I were to make the prior post all in Italian, I would have ended it with “capito?” That would be most idiomatically appropriate.

You’re actually right. Well, as per Wikipedia, part of what you wrote is right, and I’m willing to I assume the rest of what you wrote was also correct.

I looked up your spelling, and as per the Wikipedia article that I just read, it is a recognized bastardized spelling of the word. And, if it’s good enough for whoever wrote that part of the Wikipedia article, it’s goid enough for me.
