Syracuse earned perhaps the biggest regular season win of the Gary Gait era, and they crept up to No. 4 in this week’s KANE Men’s DI Media Poll.

The Orange were feisty in their decisive win against Notre Dame, and at 9-2 have a big-time game ahead of them: They play No. 1 Cornell on Long Island as part of the Corrigan Sports College Lacrosse Live Series.

The Big Red took most of the first-place votes ahead of No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Princeton. Army, winner against Colgate, is up to No. 5, while Maryland fell to sixth after losing to Rutgers.

The Scarlet Knights are the big riser of the weekend. They were receiving votes but leapt up to No. 18 after taking down the Terps for the first time since 1980.
