I thought the way they grinded out the end of the Virginia game was indicative of a team that’s even more mature than last year’s group (which was more mature than the team in 2023), and the way they responded to Notre Dame’s counterpunches when they cut the Orange lead to three goals in the late third and early fourth quarters was even more evidence of a team that’s learning how to win in important ways.
