Clemson and Stanford continue to rise, and both are now in the Top 10 of the KANE Women’s DI Media Poll.

The Cardinal beat Pitt and Villanova this week to move to 6-0 and have Syracuse on the horizon. The Tigers took down the Orange, moving to 5-0 in a season that’s shaping up to be a bunch of program firsts. Stanford is up to No. 6, while Clemson checks in at 7.

They are part of a competitive tier of teams in the poll who, on any given gameday, can all beat each other.

Boston College, North Carolina, Northwestern and Yale all remain in their perch atop the poll, and Michigan played itself back into that mix with its assertive win against Penn.

The full KANE Women’s DI Media Poll is here.

Stanford is going to be a tough game this week. They took it to UVA a few games ago and at UVA too.

They would have to play extremely efficient lacrosse. Eliminate turnovers get a lot of defensive stops and shoot at a very high percentage
