What’s up guys. Can we start a thread with some honest positive thoughts. I know it feels like we’re back in the dark ages, but I’m a a forever believer that we will find sustained national relevance under Fran. Tell me why we’re gonna be alright

I mean it’s crazy. I’m pretty convinced we would be the favorite to win the ACC right now with Angeli being healthy. What we were doing offensively against a Clemson defense that was good against LSU and Georgia Tech. The offense felt unstoppable up until the moment Angeli got hurt.

Fran loves CUSE and I'm sure this is killing him. He is working harder then anyone right now and when his time is all said and done, I have a feeling he will be our all time best coach.

I think we got talent on the team. We just need better coaches and play calling. My positive mood is on them telling the fracking coaches there bullshit for the rest of the season.

Agree about Fran killing himself. He just needs coaches that can adapt. We are sucking on adapting to players strength or weaknesses. We just play the same stuff no matter who substitutes... And then we can't even substitute properly...
EROB no issues with... Defense is though wish washy, but have been some of our best assets. Tackles are an issue too, but well... play calling.

Offense coach play calling is the main issue. But noone wants to address it or say anything about it for the last all 4 weeks... which means it is an issue.

Looks like the motive of all your posts is for likes and not for discussion or content then as that is what you just told us all. Well lets go forward on the content discussion rather on your perception and expectations of being a like click. I call it to the thread, positive thinking for SU actions or others considering the topic or the um website. So I responded appropriately.

I think next year may be a special team, but only if we can get over some of the glaring issues with the coaching staff and play calling this year.. Forward looking it looks great, but overall, performance matters too..

Ironically I dont blame some of our last years in the NFL when they had more time at this point, but they could have made a difference too...'maybe'..

We definitely need some more coach development too and I think the coaches have potential but lately the really are not adapting to the team strengths, instead just do this or else play calling as it seems.

Future wise it looks good, but I don't know how many years more a 'hurt' can happen for 'development'

That’s kind of how I feel. These players are developing even if the results don’t always make it look that way on the field. We just don’t have a QB to showcase it. The development piece should still appeal to recruits and once we have all the pieces again the results will be seen on the field again.
