Ive been looking at our schedules and the schedules of our opponents, I think perhaps if we can stay healthy and the new offense is even remotely credible that the Football scheduling gods have looked down on is with favor.
First LSU which will come off a no doubt national game against top Ten Auburn the week before after being on the road at Mississippi state the week before that. Then a long road trip to a northern city to play a team that they may not look on with as much credability as they should. Top that off with the three games at home before that with a us against teams that we should be able to beat and give us confidence. Im going out on a limb and say we have an excellent chance of pulling a Florida or Nebraska type of upset here.

The intriguing matchup with Clemson November 14th where Clemson will be playing there seventh straight week, including the week before a home game against Florida state for what will probably be for the conference title and now has there third road game in 4 weeks. Now granted we will be coming off two tough road games against Louiville and Florida State and will be playing our sixth straight week but I like the way we look here as well.

We have to play two great games and hope we don't have serious injuries like last year and the offense is not well offensive but finally we have some scheduling that doesn't totally work against us

Don,

I like the way you think

"An excellent chance," really? :rolling:

He didn't say how far out his limb is. Might not even be attached to the tree. But I like it. Dream big.

i like them against clemson as they gotta rebuild there whole front 7 as they lost starters and key back ups due to graduation and leaving early.

I love your optimism to start the season.

Let's beat Rhode Island first.

There's no sense in making any assumption other than a win against URI.

If I'm wrong and we lose then nothing else matters. Useless exercise. Fans should look ahead. Team won't.

they said nova would be a easy win before last season-how did that turn out?
team was poorly coached long before injuries-yet they ignore that fact-
hcss has to be on target for his second oc pick-

new ad just increases the pressure on the staff -

they will either actually coach a solid looking team(wins be damned )and return - or they will look as bad as last year showed they could be and take a hike-

i dont care wich one as long as su football returns to being a game you look forward to again-not a team you scratch and scratch thru the schedule looking for 6 wins
