Just watched the video Matt Park tweeted of him and shafe.
It was almost like Park slipped and said O Line shuffling and corrected himself and said recovery or something along those lines. Then shafer said hopefully we can get our two starting guards back? Maybe I am overthinking this but we might see Trudo at center.

Also shafer said eduoard will enroll in January.

Great news on Eduoard!!

No problem with Trudo move to center. Bring it on.

I certainly hope there's some shuffling around. It will be nice to have Robinson & Palmer in the fold. If Trudo can handle snapping the ball in the shotgun, consider me on board with Miller & Lasker to the 2nd unit.

Yeah, would tend to think that puts our best 5 linemen out on the field together.

to move Trudo would also mean they were REALLY disappointed with Miller.

I know that Adkins was trying to get Trudo interested in learning the position.

I wonder if Macky was back in town to help with the transition.

If so, this is the advantage of an early bye week. Time to get stuff worked out.

Watched the video. Not sure it was a slip up, just referring to the guys that were out hopefully coming back this week.

Good news on Edouard and I hope it is true. However, I'm still not 100% sold that he shows up in January. However it kicks the can down the road until then and keeps the heat off until the spring semester starts. Although not sure that starting out in Syracuse in January will be a huge lift to his spirits... At least he will be coming at the start of The ACC hoops schedule.

The tape probably didn't lie.

I'm sure Miller is a great kid, but he spent a lot of time in the backfield.

Agree dat. Is it a technique issue, or is he just not strong enough to play center?

Center is the hardest position on the oline. I started 2 years at center and 1 year at guard and 1 year at left tackle. Center was by far the hardest position out of the 3

I fully expect to see Macky coaching at Cuse next year. I bet he carries on his Grand Dad's Legacy.
Had not thought of that (I can be a little slow on the uptake according to Mrs Crusty) but that would be neat to see happen.

The pessimist in me worries about Miller being potentially benched for 2 reasons. 1. They spent all that time getting him ready, so if we're shifting Trudo, he probably didn't practice there much. Wasted time. 2. Miller must have looked good enough in practice to keep there, what does that say about our D?

I'd give him at least another start before making the move.

I suspect that anybody on this board would just be guessing at the answer. I think I recall some preseason talk from the staff about being happy and confident with Miller's progress. To be fair, he was not the only OL who was overpowered at times in the Nova game.

I think Trudo's presence and nasty streak will make a difference on the entire play of the line, whether he lines up at C or G.

Kinda hope he becomes our coach someday... start as a GA and work his way up...

Trudo has a great nasty streak. He also seems to be inconsistent from a mental perspective, something that scares me thinking of him at Center.

This is what worries me about the SU defensive line. If Miller could hold his own in practice but not vs Nova this might say a bit about the SU defense.

was tweeted per Carlson that the line will be Hickey, Palmer, Miller, Trudo, Foy... Robinson is 2nd string. Interesting, maybe still injured.

My best guess is that if they can possibly rest Robinson for 1 more day they will. If the line struggles vs CMU I'd assume to see Nick out there.

Hopefully he helps out Coach Adam with the OL. For a guy coaching the position at a high level for the first time, all the help he can get is welcome.
