So it’s obvious the throwing abilities are different but that does not mean you can’t gameplan around Tucker and what Garrett can do with his arm. Fast pace offense again….slants, hooks…screens…roll Shrader out and can throw or run it. Again it doesn’t have to be sexy….just efficient and effective. Pick your spots. If we get Luke back….short passes to our TE. Say what you want….the defense responded to finally having an offense helping them. If thats the path to winning more….take it. Also I believe zero turnovers.

I don’t get why any team doesn’t go under center and sneak it on anything and inches. Why are we starting the play four yards behind where we need to get instead of a foot. I’ll never agree with it.

I was really impressed with him. Throws a nice ball, he's accurate, and he's hard to bring down.

But I was more impressed with our defense. Give those guys credit, they stopped an NFL QB tonight.

Me too. He threw some absolute sideline darts. He is very athletic but not enough to carry him. He’s an NFL guy, but I would t bet my franchise on him. Could wind up being russel Wilson though.

Yeah, I'm cautiously optimistic, partly because the defense and Tucker combo seems workable, and partly because nobody in the ACC looks all that good.

Pretty weak year for QB’s. PFF moved Willis up to QB1 in the Draft this week.

Wake is legit. But, again, what I’ll say is we have a great D and the best player on the field in Sean Tucker.

They are. But what gives me hope is that they are not built on exceptional recruiting. They can be had in the Dome, IMO. There are other teams I think we have a better shot at.

Kind of an OT post…

after watching our game, I’m gonna be watching BC intently versus Mizzou tomorrow. First real test for BC, and they just lost Phil Jurkovec who was their highly touted transfer quarterback from Notre Dame who beat us last year.

I think that is another winnable game for us.

They have a worse D and passed for 59 yards vs Temple. Losing Hafley to the B1G might have to wait another year

Liberty owned us in second half because we have one play and one player on offense. He might be a Superman but he human. And everyone knew he was going to get the ball. We do not have Qb. We have a big bearded transfer that knows how to hand off ball..period. Our coac sb in the stands watching the game. We have No offenseexcept for tucker.

Ohh, Harsh. It wasn't one player, the O line and GS as well (receivers not so much), they helped Superman! I'll call them the superfriends for now. GS was calm and confident under center and will get better with more time. I'll tell you what, the players know a player... Trust me, it's not measured by how far you throw the ball. They will follow this kid if he's given the keys.

Dino needs to have faith in the offense.

It almost cost us the game. I say that confidently. Momentum and game feel matter. Fourth and a foot is converted via sneak like 98% of the time.

He was built up to be Michael Vick on Madden ‘04. Fell a bit short imo.

Wow... Wills is a better athlete than Shrader and as good a passer as Devito, Put him on our squad and we are easily top 25. I think the kid is too flawed as a passer and not a good enough athlete to make it as a QB in the NFL, but he's miles better than anything we have had since McNabb.
