I decided that I was going to use the win probability per KenPom. and based on those likelihoods randomly pick a winner. The results would probably be unique ... and I will probably finish last.

And I am sticking to it. I will probably finish last, but it is certainly unique.

South: Villanova over UConn
West : Cincinnati over Northern Iowa
East: West Virginia over UNC
Midwest: Purdue over Syracuse

And the random number came up for Syracuse over Michigan St despite having about a 13% chance. According to KP, Utah is not a particular strong 3 seed, so it was not too large of an upset to get by them This is after UConn beats Kansas.

So yes, mark me down for last.

yeah I'm going out on a limb a bit with them and Miami, and "gut feelings" like this have usually backfired on me in past years, but what the hey

I pick Syracuse to make the final 4 every year. I told a buddy once, "If you don't believe who is going to." I think that every year I have done an NCAA pool when Syracuse wasn't in the tourney I have won.
