If it was me, I'd probably beat the crap out of the podium, too.
It just seemed like he was getting through the whole Q&A, answering the boring questions, sometimes with wry humor, and then he erupted for about 10 seconds, and then when back to the previous volume and tone.

Coach Shafer strikes me as a guy who's emotional all the time about everything but he works hard to keep his emotions in check.

I like him a lot; he's an easy guy to like, even during a frustrating season.
I just hope he makes good decisions this upcoming offseason.
