I had a gut feeling this was gonna be ugly. NE is no stranger to playing good teams tough just ask UConn. They executed perfectly and got the type of performance from our two best shooters they can only hope for. I totally get the minutes thing about Buddy. That said this was Buddy's game to play things out like Joe did earlier. Griff got the bench treatment which I think Buddy should have got more of but I think it's a quick bounce back the right direction against UB. Final thought- without Sid we lose this game last year if Hughes and Buddy shot 1-19. Probably lose by 10-12. Remember so many other teams have had scares or What losses already that are ranked.
