Kayla has a mess on her hands to say the least this going to be a tough year to say the least

Still has Emma Ward and some good young defenders. Bet we steal a game against a top team and finish like you guessed Jack, 11-5, 12-4 would be solid. Olivia Adamson is going to have a big year. A bit concerned with the goalie, but we shall see.

agree with ya but we went 16-6 last year with Delaney only saving 40% of shots. I'm confident we can match that percentage this year

There going to see a lot more rubber with out Kate Mash at the circle and if you use Adamson it’s going to take a
Toll over a 20 games season. It concerns me to see top level talent like Delaney and Markey all of a sudden transfer out of a program they both went through hell to play for. Syracuse has one of the largest budgets in the country and lost 2 huge recruits I can’t see it being financial

Kate will be a huge loss at the draw for sure. You make a fair point Adamson potentially wearing down. This team will likely be much more athletic in the midfield. Credit to Kayla for identifying and signing these players. Every program has lost players over the years (25 commits). it happens. Wish those girls well. Where they are landing has challenges. it is not the utopia IL claims it to be.

It is tough to fault kids who have done 4 years for leaving to take advantage of grad programs elsewhere.

Markey was hurt for the last two, so will be interesting to see if she comes back fast for Florida.
DS is definitely a loss, but I can see why she wanted to experience another school. Stinks that it is a program that has our number lately. NW's facilities are amazing though.

For me the question will be can Kayla take us to the next step. We have be stuck in that not quite good enough phase for 10 years. Not sure what we are missing, but at present, we haven't figured it out.

This seems fair and unfortunately for Kayla she has to win against seasoned coaches to prove it...Hiller, Walker, Levy & Reese. I know she will get there just not sure on how long it takes

She has beaten them all except Walker-Weinstein. I have zero issue with Kayla’s coaching or recruiting abilities. I do have concerns that problems in her personal life may be showing up elsewhere. It’s none of my business but this 10000000 pound elephant that was left unaddressed all summer does worry me.

Agreed, very strange situation. I believe she should be able to do whatever she chooses in her personal life but it does feel this may have gotten too close to work.

I think this has been put to bed & once the team gets back on campus the focus will be on winning.
