plenty of defensive coaches lay awake at night wondering how to stop the spread yet still don't run it

what you say makes sense but i'm not holding my breath for a defensive coach to not make sense.

they are also very quick to discard it if it doesn't go right immediately

these guys have tastes, the spread offends them and when they go to it grudgingly, they might bail on it quick.

At least if Ash "gets the band back together" they will be coming from Ohio State, Iowa St. and Wisconsin instead of a bunch of MAC schools.
