Practice doesn’t matter.

Yep all those practices between the Rutgers game and BC really paid off

Jimmy pretty much always gets the guys to take on their roles. Gotta be able to see how the guys play together and then tweak it. The fine talent of the players is in good hands. Just need to harness it.

Not as silly as those who think you can just do “conditioning on your own for 2 weeks” and then roll out the balls and then go out and play the same way you would if you were playing everyday.

ok...I never said that...so I’m cool if you want to pound that home.

Huh?

bryant isn’t good. They are a mid pack NEC team, at best. A league that routinely gets the 16 seed in the NCAA tourney.

i believe the folks suggesting they are some valid mid major will be proven incorrect by seasons end and that the game had way more to do with Syracuse and the situation rather than Bryant being good

I think Bryant isn't a dumpster and is well coached. No doubt our play and situation was the reason for the result but I've watched them play since and they are not a pushover. I expect they will compete for the NEC title. So I think you are wrong on them to an extent but SU wins by 10-15 plus normally. Remember they lost to RU by two and played FL tough last year.. different team but with Grasso it's about the system and Green as their PG gives him what he needs to run it successfully.

i haven't seen anyone claim anything about bryant except that they have a shot at being top 200 in kenpom, not sub 300 as they were projected. they've lost 2 road games by a combined 3 points & have climbed from 312 to 235

Niagara and Rider have worse Kenpom rankings.

yeah...I don’t believe they have a shot at top 200.
How many NEC teams have been in the top 200 in the past 5 years?

last year...2?

Bryant is a solid low major team. With the way they push the tempo and the shooters they have they could scare the ish out of a one or two seed in March Madness. Grasso is a Time Cluess disciple who is one of the best low major coaches of all time, so he knows what he’s doing.

Still would have been a terrible loss but given the circumstances how it played out is forgivable
