So just because something bad could happen, I'm not going to allow myself to enjoy what is happening. Sorry, but that sucks.

That's like saying: "I'm not getting in a car today. Heck, I could get in an accident and die."

To each his own, and as a glass half empty guy I can understand why you would choose to temper your expectations...but this season has been pretty damn fun.
