Absolutely. I miss the days when good teams were spread across the coutry. I used to watch teams in addition to SU. With the same teams at the top every year, such a drop off after the first 3 or 4, and fewer nonconference matchups, it's just not as fun anymore. Every year I lose a little more interest.

Agree with you guys. And people can say it goes in cycles, but I'm not sure the gap has been wider between the haves and the have nots than it is now, as you mention.

I admit that each year I get excited leading up to the playoff games. Once they actually start, I realize that I'm just not that interested in these teams again.

Head coach Greg Gattuso, entering his eighth season, said this team is more talented than the one that went 9-5 and reached the second round of the FCS playoffs in 2019 after being chosen to finish last.
