Press more?

Next year we should have 9 guys who can give us minutes. With the athletes we will have at the guard spots and a 7'2 guy standing under the basket, does anyone else think we should press more? We have a great zone, but we often allow lesser teams to stay in the game because they slow the tempo to a standstill. I really feel like this hurts our offense as well because we have to play 25 seconds of defense on most possessions. We will have the horses next year, and we have better athletes than the majority of the country. So why not?

It would be nice to just not get down by 10 or 16 with 9 min to go.

Although I do like it to "mix stuff up", rattle the other team a bit. The press itself didn't stop UVa, but it committed them to a panic mode which they didn't turn off. And then we scored well.

Just make baskets to begin with and play our game for 40
