Pressure builds at Syracuse as bad years pile up

Yes we don't know much about the offense - except Rex Culpepper said it was similar to what his high school does! So get video from Rex's season.
Seriously, we have to expect Lester will fit the formation and plays to what his players can do. He has 4 OL who have started, A veteran QB, a veteran TE, better weapons, 2 RBs who have run for 300 yards in a back-up role. Some of the back-up (Enoicy and Custis in particular) will be very good.
On defense, we are small and inexperienced. But we have "identity".
We do have alot of guys on offense who have played alot of football for us. Your right, that will make a big difference.

center of the universe, you seemed to feel as if the article was written directly to you or directly to a recruit.

it was just part of a series...
I don't think it has anything to do with me. Don't know where you get that. A North Carolina paper spends time on Syracuse and the subject is no one to wear #44, it makes me wonder...

Not my point. If I am a running back from N.C. and read that article, in a North Carolina paper. I might think it was aimed at me.

How many newspaper articles do you think today's 17 year olds are reading?

Unless this thing was posted on Snapchat I don't imagine anyone under the age of 30 has any idea about it's existence.

A. It's not a newspaper, it's a website.
B. It's in his home state.
C. It's about the college he choose to go to.
D. It references the number and legacy that means a lot to him.
E. He probably has people in his life over 17 that do read the news. Some of which would prefer him to stay at one of the 4 ACC schools in state.

I don't think it was written for him. But to imply he's not aware of its existence is probably far-fetched. I also don't think it will matter. RW44 is committed to us.

That's fine. Obviously I was employing a bit of hyperbole.

The notion that this article would plant the seeds of doubt that would blossom into a de-commit is laughable. From that piece we learned that SU hasn't been good recently and there was some kind of kerfuffle about a jersey number. I'm sure that'd be shocking for Washington to learn. ;)

Exactly. I'm pretty sure he knew all of that prior the article - that family knows football and Cuse history.
