So? His legacy is great regular season coach that loses early a lot in the tourney. He needs to take this team deep in the tourney or that's what his final legacy will be.

If JB can win 20 games a year with guys playing high then he really must be a HOF coach. His legend is secure.

So are you someone who would also say that Eli Manning is better than Dan Marino because Marino never won a title? It's a different sport, and it's coach versus player, but the idea is still the same, and it's equally absurd.

Did you think about me when you went to sleep last night? I'm a Syracuse basketball fan i'm not a JB worshiper like you, he is not perfect. All I stated was he struggles in March which is a fact and ppl like you are blinded by your man crush for him that you don't see it. If he does win a title I will shut up but up until this point he has only been past the sweet 16 4 times.

I am probably in the minority but I think if this story gets bigger that when added in with the Fine story it might finally be too much negative publicity for the university to ignore. I don't want it to happen but I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility this could be JB's last year.

Show me where I said I worshiped JB. Id love to see it. A lot of coaches struggle in March dude. Bill Self, John Calipari, Jamie Dixon I could go on and on. If you can see that 2 years ago Arinze's injury kept us from winning a national championship then you are clearly blinded by your hatred. That was JB's fault?
What I do is not complain 100% of the time like you do about the same thing. You are like the little kid in the back seat that keeps asking his parents "are we there yet.are we there yet...are we there yet" and then complain constantly because we are not there yet. The problem is you wont shut up when we win and will always be a JB basher. You just dont change your mind after a win.

I generally agree...except I do think it's convenient to say if we had Arinze another nc was basically a guarantee. Certainly our chances would've been far greater, but not a certainty by any means.

A final four was a lock. I watched a documentary on the Kansas State teams season over the summer on the 2009-2010 season. After the regional semifinal game against Xavier that went into double or triple OT every Xavier player in this show including Frank Martin admitted that they had ZERO left in the tank for the Butler game. There is not a doubt in my mind that we would have run that team off the floor and advanced to the FF. From there I think we would have advanced to play Duke and who knows what would have happened. Its a moot point because we lost to Butler.

John Cheney, Gene Keady, Lou Carneseca, Rollie, Norm Stewart - all great coaches. Some with courts and arenas named after them. None of them come close to touching JB's accomplishments.
Only idiots question his legacy. He's one of the top 10 or 15 people that have ever done his job.
Just curious, how many coaches have made 3 title games over 3 decades? Those with an anti JB agenda always focus on the elite 8. Who cares about that? There aren't many guys who have been to 3 title games.
