Yes, he was a freshman that year and ended up playing limited minutes, but he was excellent in Maui. It was his soph year when he averaged 20 minutes off the bench and become a huge part of the rotation.

It's a shame that 2002 team fell apart with drama. There's no reason that team couldn't have made the tourney.
