NC State game redux in that it told me next to nothing about our guys. Half their team was injured including their best weapon. All I can tell from this is that the defense hits hard. I hope that they can build on this win. At the same time, we've seen this movie before. The big positive on offense was no turnovers. If they can stay out of the defense's way, things will be more competitive down the stretch. But nothing I saw on that side of the ball really inspired much confidence.

I can agree with this assessment but how different is Pitt and BC (although they did win today) from wake? I really think that we'll see this team 6-6 and in a bowl game. Go orange Go bucks

This is what I struggle with. Our offense is atrocious, yet we beat NCState and now WF. I'd hate to be a NCState or Wake fan these days. We are winning games with zero passing ability.

Get your point but Hunt was much better today. 18-30 for 144 yards no interceptions - 60% comp rate. Seven different guys caught passes. Something to build on. It ain't nuttin.

Get your point but Hunt was much better today. 18-30 for 144 yards no interceptions - 60% comp rate. Seven different guys caught passes. Something to build on. It ain't nuttin.

And half of the missed attempts were long throws to open receivers. Hunt needs to settle down a little and he will be serviceable. We don't have the speed for the Clemsons and FSU, but our receivers did a good job against the middle of the pack teams.
