Watched the movie, "Prey" last night. Very solid -- definitely lived up to the positive hype. Nice twist on an existing franchise, with the setting playing a big role in how things were "different."
The lead [Amber Midthunder] was someone I was familiar with, from the FX program, Legion. She was terrific, which wasn't easy because her role didn't have a ton of dialogue.
The majority of sequels to the Predator franchise have been pretty bad. This really bucked that trend. I was concerned that with all of the favorable reviews, I might be let down by the final product -- but the hype was warranted, IMO.
