Had wondered. Intentional or not it needs to be flagged. Was it a consequence of playing hard or did the player just lose his cool?

He was trying (well, he succeeded) to hit the shooter who was alone on the doorstep. Orangeman was right - it was hard and at the head. Had to be called.
