I’m glad he stayed but you may see some of our coaches looking for different opportunities. I want DB to be successful but if there is not a turn around next year the entire staff may be looking for jobs when a new coach is hired.

I get what you are saying about the possible sinking ship, but it also should be looked at as a positive that schools with more clout are looking at our assistants. If we make good hires and have solid assistants then the big boys may come calling. Not all that different than us being the first to offer a recruit that blows up. It is the reality of our place in P5 currently (and maybe always to some extent)

I'm looking for more pay, better benefit, and better career advancement on a consistent basis.

Yup, other than incoming coordinators who typically get 2-3 year deals.
