Is there any other area of the county who can crow that they have two players in the Major League All Star game?

Virginia Beach/Norfolk had David Wright and Mike Cuddyer.
Santo Domingo, DR had David Ortiz and Jose Bautista.
St Paul Minnesota had Joe Mauer and Glen Perkins.
Valencia, Venezuela had Felix Hernandez and Salvador Perez.
Toronto, Ontario had Jesse Crain and Joey Votto.

There are probably more, I lost interest.

But given how few major leaguers this area has produced, it is quite amazing that 2 actually made an all star game. Grilli has been a hanger on most of his MLB career. Corbin didn't even play baseball until his junior year of HS. Congrats to both of them.

He did play some youth baseball however.
