From what I saw down here in Atlanta, I am very, very proud to be an ex-CNYer, SU fan, JB fan, etc... I was sitting in Cheesecake Factory in North Point Mall down here watching the aftergame interview and someone walks by and sees JB on the tv and asks me..."Did they fire him yet?:. My reaction..."hell no, if you know anything about the story, no way does JB get fired!" Jim Boeheim is Syracuse Basketball.

I can't tell you how proud I am of the way JB, the University, etc has handled this. Its interesting how media people have tried to push and all I see is pure class by SU & JB. Thats how I've seen it from down here. I'll be heading over to kick NC State's arse-I hope to see a few of you there.

Nice post cusetiger, and great response to the guy, Just don't throw your Caribbean Cooler at him! Also, thats one game I'd love to be at but will have to watch on the tube.

I have been wearing something Syracuse every day since this broke and have had a few discussions on the real facts of the case with various misinfomed members of the Greater cincinnati area. My co-worker today thought that JAB was fired and he did the diddling.

This crap is not helping my perception that "average intelligence" is pretty rare.

And Cusetiger, I'll have a beer for you in the parking lot in Raleigh.

I'm fortunate in that everyone I know has either not brought it up, or simply asked for my take without offering their own opinion because, I assume, they are aware that any misinformation will be quickly pointed out, so they don't even bother.

Orangemen > Orange. I'm just sayin'.

Made my first trek to Coleman's for trivia night tonight. Everyone was glued to the TVs during JB's presser and there were some grumbles when its coverage was turned off. It was cool to see all the support for the Orange and there were definitely plenty of people there who shared our views on JB.

Was at Dr's last night.TV was on CNN. When they mentioned Bernies name and all the stuff going on.Everyone (about 30) in the waiting room did a synchronized head shake.I was the only one wearing an OrangeMEN shirt.I was proud as hell to be wearing it to. People do love they OrangeMEN around this city.
