PS: Syracuse football defensive line must anchor defense (spring preview)

The better the D-Line is the better the young LB's will be as they won't be exposed as much as they would be if the DL can't get any penetration. If they can stay healthy, they will have a very good year. Rotate and keep fresh.

It would be amazing if he played so well that when people think of a Robinson from Syracuse they always think of Alton and not the mistake from the dark days.

Mandel?

I actually first think of Micah when I here Robinson. He was a solid contributor for us.

I think David Robinson...and the Navy NCAA game where he dominated the hell out of us, in Raf and Wendell Alexis' last SU game. Sigh.

Wait we have Alton Robinson for 2 more years? That is incredible news.
Yup. By the time he's done, I think he will be the first Robinson we think of and one of the best DE's we've had in a while. He did really well for a Soph and with his gain of 11 lbs up to 253 lbs he's got the measurables.

Lots of potential on this DLine. Coleman had a fantastic freshman year and injuries got him in 2017 as it did Black for also had a good freshman year. If HCDB can get some quality depth at DT and be able to keep the DE's there and not forced to move inside, this line will be dynamite. If Slayton can continue to draw attention from multiple blockers it just opens Pandora's box to TFL land for all to enjoy.
