Here's the thing. JoePa and McQueary were in more similar situations than some here seem to accept. Neither one of them had a LEGAL obligation to do anything more than what they did, which was to report what they knew to someone above them in the chain of command.
The problem is morally, both should have known that when they reported it, time went by, and no punishment was given, that they had to do something more.
My issue is that it seems to me that McQueary was probably bumped up the coaching ladder (is now WR Coach and Recruiting Coordinator) in exchange for silence. There's nothing anyone could do to silence Paterno...
