This definitely is not a done deal. We really need a capable qb or 2 in this class.

Sounds like we were honest with him and he didn’t like the discussion about possibly changing positions sometime down the road. Hopefully he does his research and sees what Coach Beck has done with similar terrific athletes playing QB. If he wants to play on Sundays, his best shot is to go to Syracuse and learn from an OC/QB coach who has a proven track record making this happen with similar players.

We got one after you posted this, and the Williams kid is likely visiting next weekend. We will be ok, and still just might get this kid too
