Kinda the point. We need someone who is good enough to be serviceable if something happens to McCord. But not so good as to be getting offered starting jobs elsewhere. It's a thin line to hit.

absolutely agree. Probably not the best strategy, but I definitely hold grudges against the kids that choose elsewhere first. This does not include local kids though. I understand them wanting to go away for school and see a new area of the country.
