Lasalle is a terrific program. Their biggest rival is fellow Philadelphia mega power St Joseph’s Prep. Yes, that St Joseph’s, the alma mater of Kyle McCord.

Their alums include Tom Gola, Bills HC Sean McDerrmott, and SU mega star Zaire Franklin.

It is a long, bitter rivalry between two excellent programs.

They have been playing since 1915.

LaSalle dominated for years decades ago but St Joseph's took control of the series and had won 14 of the last 15 going into their game this season.

But LaSalle beat them in a great 4 OT game in October. I think they are generally considered the top two football programs in the state right now.
