I saw some were concerned by his mechanics in the junior year tape...well he must've worked on them because his release looks smooth as silk in some of these clips. Maybe I'm just getting over-excited, but I am super, super high on him after watching this.

Thanks for the highlight link. I hadn't seen those. Ya I think he looks pretty solid and has some really nice potential. He has a strong arm and can make some tough throws. seems comfortable in the pocket and is able to avoid the pass rush and keep his head up to find receivers. Pretty good at going through progressions. Also a very solid runner and scrambler. Had over 1000 yds rushing as a junior. I'd really like to see more of his passing highlights other than just the 4 minutes worth but with what was shown you can see the ability. No routine easy passes made the highlight film.

I was able to pull some stats together from a couple different sources and merge them together. Not a fantastic completion percentage but there could be many factors to this. He must have had a pretty poor team in 2022 where he had to do it all himself. Lots of passing yards and rushing yds but 11 interceptions. They went just 2-9.
But his stats seem to indicate he became a much better decision maker his senior year which is great. His line didn't look all that great on his highlights and he only had one pick in 2023! Also boasts a much better QB rating his senior year.

Stats show it too. Completion percent up, TD to INT ratio way down, QBR way up. He played a much cleaner season and was efficient. Great trajectory

His HUDL highlights are really nice too. Highest I’ve been on a Syracuse QB recruit out of HS probably since DeVito. Sellers looked nice but we couldn’t hold on.
