With the way these kids flip flop, commit/de-commit, the portal, etc., it's a wee bit to early to get excited about this one.

Kids 2 cycles away...A lot could happen...Even if he isn't a P5 QB, he looks athletic...Kevin Johnson moved to receiver...He could be committing to Fran Brown the person...I'd argue 10-15 percent of kids who commit as QBs move off the ball like Villari...Just enjoy the weekend...

I'm not sure its lack of excitement but more of holy cow is this really happening? Mixed in with a little like laNorris Sellers type thing. Its almost like am I dreaming we go from not normally getting our first recruit to a class in Like April of the year of the class, to getting a QB to come here like two years before he is going to be on Campus to start class.

The things Fran has done for the program are almost to hard to imagine.
Its like the line in the song Mary Jane's Last dance by Tom Petty" She blew the boys away it was more than they'd seen" Thats what Fran is providing right now

I agree though get hyped and enjoy after this year skeptics should be about gone, and enjoy this ride Fran is tasking the program on.

Sellers was a Babers recruit, no?

It's better to have a kid committed than not. Especially at the QB position. If we have to fight for his signature at the end so be it. But we've had the early relationship, that works in our favor.

yes I believe he was a Babers recruit but I think guys here are worried that recruits giving commitments so early can be like Sellers when in state schools finally call on them. I think you always take a QB recruit you like as well no matter it just looks good that you have them so I'm all aboard for getting QB's when they say they want to come here
