There was a live pod last night I came across on Twitter of 3 Nebraska guys talking about it and it was basically the dad nonsense and that something was way off because there's no way they could be competing for a quarterback with Syracuse. We don't have NIL etc etc...Bunch of the typical bologna.

However, if you listen to Ohio State’s media and insiders, it would seem like Kyle McCord’s dad wasn’t the best thing for the team’s culture. Stories from insiders and “sources” paint Kyle’s dad negatively, indicating that he has been unruly, demanding, and challenging to work with. But this isn’t a high school sport. Parents shouldn’t be showing up in the coach's office, and coaches don’t want to deal with that drama. This leads to the rumor that Kyle McCord was not saying “no” to Nebraska. It might have been Matt Rhule saying “no” to Kyle McCord.

It is - there's so much garbage on twitter right now. Literally two days ago these same kind of guys were talking about how McCord and Raiola would both be on Nebraska's depth chart - which made zero sense. Now McCord isn't going there because he wasn't wanted - which also makes zero sense.

He was wanted, shortly before his visit they got back in the game with Raiola, they're going to land Raiola, and McCord isn't going anywhere to sit. This isn't rocket science. Nebraska definitely wanted him, you don't have guys OV that you have no interest in.

He doesn't want to get crucified by the children of the corn... easier to throw the kid who ain't coming under the bus.

Also, Rhule is as self-serving as they come... Took a shot at us to Tony White and the media regarding our lack of facilities and support when White's hat was in the ring for our HC job and Rhule wanted to keep him...

Then he lauded the job as a fantastic oppo and congratulated Fran when he got it...

No. He’s only got 1 year left. He played in 5 games as a true freshman attempting only 9 passes lol which needlessly burned a year of eligibility.

Can’t he petition the NCAA to get the year back?
