Agree. I actually didn’t think he was that bad last week. O line play was terrible and his timing was just off on throws. But he hasn’t had many reps with those wide receivers. I would have stuck with him this week. We know Rickie can’t read a D.Knowing everyone ripped Falardi last week. But he is a better QB than Collins long term
OMG! That was the worst game I’ve ever seen any QB play……EVER.Agree. I actually didn’t think he was that bad last week. O line play was terrible and his timing was just off on throws. I agree. He put on a ton of pounds since last week.Knowing everyone ripped Falardi last week. But he is a better QB than Collins long term
He’s a better lacrosse player and that’s what he should be doing the next 4 years.Knowing everyone ripped Falardi last week. But he is a better QB than Collins long term
RC's completion rate is around 50% for the season. Even if he could read the D, you cannot win with a QB who is consistently inaccurate.Agree. I actually didn’t think he was that bad last week. Plenty of lax guys play football. There are a lot of examples both in college and the NFL. True freshman walkon is the main factor here.he's a walk on lax player not the solution to fran's mess. no reason for him to get injured in a lost cause.

I honestly feel bad for Rickie. Seems like a nice kid who gives you everything he has on every play. He is playing "better" but will never be accurate enough at this level of competition.you counting to the opposition?
Seems like it’s both accuracy and vision. He can’t see the field. That pick was unreal.I honestly feel bad for Rickie. Seems like a nice kid who gives you everything he has on every play. He is playing "better" but will never be accurate enough at this level of competition.
I feel the same. Even with the first game jitter, Falardi show better pose, not easy to panic like Collins.Knowing everyone ripped Falardi last week. But he is a better QB than Collins long term
To me, the accuracy supersedes the vision issue.Seems like it’s both accuracy and vision. He can’t see the field. That pick was unreal.
I also feel bad for him. Really thoughtful young man who simply isn’t cut out for P4 football. It’s a shame that the staff botched the QB room so badly. Collins should have been passed by others, been the QB 3 or 4, and never seen the field this year.
I'd give everything I had at QB as well but would probably look similar and I've never played QB and am 41 years old and fatI honestly feel bad for Rickie. Seems like a nice kid who gives you everything he has on every play. He is playing "better" but will never be accurate enough at this level of competition.
Collins would look better if 75% of the time he doesnt have time to even make 1 read let alone 2-3.
He has more really throws than routine ones, but that also means 50% seem to be wild
Season is no longer about winning. I think that was made after the Pitt game. We have been scrimmaging since then. The oline play certainly hasn't been stellar bit they're passable on more plays than RC.
Angeli was 3-1 behind the same line with 10TDs/2INTs that Rickie is O-5 with 6TDs/9INTs. We have receivers open a LOT, slick Rick just doesn't see them or the defenders rolling in front of them. It's not Rickies fault at this point though, he long since shouldn't have been on the field.
At this point just run wildcat, wishbone and/or option with jet sweeps or reverses to WRs or Villardi. Easy installs and will get single high coverage for when we do pass out of it. If we don't have a QB, run an offense that doesn't take one and go beat the hell out of opponents in the front 7 all game while running clock to help the defense. Nixon is making play calling look much more difficult than it is at this point
Completely agree. Basically run a high school offense lolThe oline play certainly hasn't been stellar bit they're passable on more plays than RC.

Which is fine for the program long term but not to the fans spending time and money to travel and support the team.Season is no longer about winning. I think that was made after the Pitt game. We have been scrimmaging since then.
