"To date in the 2025-26 season, Copeland is playing like an All-ACC performer. He leads the Wolfpack in points, assists and steals per game. Copeland is averaging 27.7 minutes, 14.1 points, 6.2 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 2.7 turnovers and 1.7 steals per contest while making 53.8 percent from the field, 47.6 percent from beyond the arc and 75.2 percent from the free-throw line."

Red makes players worse, that’s the problem. Yea Copeland was a head case but he was a head case with a chance to be really talented and he’s showing it now. The main reason we need a coaching change is because red struggles to keep players (especially guards) playing at the same level they’ve played at previously, and almost never makes them better

Copeland was always going to be a good player as an upper classman. It was clear as day. Definitely needs a jumper though and you need to surround him with shooters.

His shooting stats FG% .538 3PT.% .476 FT% .752 I would say his shooting is very good.
Interesting - I saw it was up there early in the season but figured it would come down to like 30. Low volume and likely not sustainable. But good for him. Seems like he's been working.

He's only taken 42 3PA this season, which, shooting 48% is still pretty damn good. Before that he was 16 of 79 (20%) for his career. I think he's always had the talent to be this kind of player, but he needed to mature a lot. Maybe Will Wade is a perfect coach for him.

Would like to see Nate Kingz on him when the Orange play man to man.
Otherwise he coiuld go for 30 points and 10 assists.

"It's personal ". I would imagine it would be for a guy who stopped going to class and invited people to stay with him in his appartment. Both issues documented by insiders. Also shared he was disruptive in the locker room and had no respect for the staff. This guy is the perfect example of "addition by subtraction ". If he has truly changed his behavior good for him but let's not even remotely act like Syracuse blindly just let a kid go. Dude was intentionally let go because he was a walking scheetshow.

THIS!!! Even as much as we hate Red right now it is foolish to act like this is on him. It is on Q and Q alone. Drape Kingz on him all night and shut him down.

Is it not on him? 3 straight years the players don’t seem to listen to red. It would appear only one person has been a constant through those years

There's not listening to Red, and then there is what Q did while he was here. I swear it is like people forget about personal responsibility when it comes to Q. The dude was not going to class for months! He was doing crap that is unacceptable even if we had a literal trash can as our coach! And now he is trying to gaslight everyone into it just being that our staff "did not believe in him." Eph that! We were just supposed to put up with a guy acting totally insubordinate while he was here?

Wade basically says it in the article “He’s not the same person or player that he was at Syracuse,” Wade said. “I think he’d tell you that he made some mistakes, and he’s learned quite a bit since then.”

Not following your logic. Red had a cancer in the locker room and outside it and you want to blame Red? There's plenty you can put on Red deservingly, this isn't one of those things. When you have a cancer, you cut it out or it spreads.

Who cares? Beyond Copeland and his family and the 50 people left who are still all in on Red as coach this is Copeland flexing to an empty room.

Anyone who chirps Cuse should be met with some hostility, even if we hate our coach.
