I find it difficult to understand how quasi professional at this level of play can miss the cage entirely with 15 yards of it.Panic or just rushing the shot only goes so far in explaining this happening. For what its worth it happens to all teams not just us.I maintain the best goal keeper in lacrosse is some kid named Pipe Crossbar.

When one tries to snipe corners and small spaces between goalie and pipe, if the head of the stick moves a quarter-inch off target a ball can sail high and/or wide with high frequency. It's harder than it looks, and believe it or not these guys make it look much easier than it actually is.
