Question on E Adams/University lot

What time does it open? Looking to set up my Clemson tailgate there. It's the lot right across from Marshal Square mall and touches up against the Lehman permit lot. Obviously the festivities will start early on the Hill that day and I want to make sure I get my spot. Does it open 5 hours before kickoff? More? Time is not an issue, I'll be there at 9am if I need to be. Thanks for the heads up, I've had no lot trying to contact them directly.

I tailgate in that usually as well and was wondering the same thing. It's operated by LAZ Parking. Here's a link to the specific lot that has a phone number included with it. I believe the lot is typically open and self-park during non-event hours. Not sure what time they will have an attendant in there on game day, but my guess would be that you could just park in there whenever and then pay the attendant when they get there.

Big TBD on that day I think. Whether or not gameday happens there are SO many activities all around campus that day with homecoming (I need to be at Newhouse at 8:30am for example) I am hopeful they open the lots earlier than they would for a normal football game. We will see.

Any idea on the open time for skytop?

I was told by someone in the AD that many of the homecoming event parking is at skytop and they were using shuttles. They also said this was starting pretty early in the morning. I believe as early as 7:30. I could be totally wrong on both of these also

Thats annoying. So I'm going to have to park at Skytop and then move my car midday? Ugh. I'll just pay to park by Marshall somewhere

Only indirectly. The loss of Gameday means that there is no need for tons of fans on campus at 9am which means the lots wont open till closer to their typical time. In the Gameday scenario i could have seen tailgating starting as early as noon in some places. It still may in the non SU lots but i doubt nearly as much that early

Which stinks because I’d like to start around noon or 1. 4 hours before kickoff for a prime time game just doesn’t seem enough for me

They’re charging $30 for this premium game.

I would love to not have my car anywhere near campus so I don’t have to worry about it. On the other hand, trying to find a rideshare post game has bad news all over it too..
